This quarantine has forced me to connect with my family. Coming straight from college life, where I’m surrounded by hundreds of people each day, to spending every day with my mother, sister, and dog has made things kind of boring for me. But we’ve played little games to pass the time, such as bowling and basketball. I think this event has taught me to appreciate the little things. In the midst of all this madness there is a light and for us to reach it we must work together. Knowing this is true, my family is hanging in there and taking things as they come, day by day.

When I woke up in the morning and looked outside, I saw literally no one. And looking off in the distance I imagined it's the same for New York, our neighboring state.
