Love is the Weapon
After almost two months of insolation, working from home, eating more than usual and being less productive than I have been in my entire life, I've felt the world from afar. Everything looks like a movie that I will tell my grandkids about.
I see how people are mourning their dead from the opposite side of the street without a worthy burial. I see how people are getting sick because if they don’t go out to work they don’t eat. They say that they would rather die from Coronavirus than from hunger. I see how in my country people are corrupt, coldly stealing the donations for those in need. I see lack of understanding, insensitivity, and thoughtlessness from our leaders, but I also see good people working together to make a better world through innovative ideas, initiatives, and entrepreneurial activities.
The biggest countries, the strongest, the invincibles, are failing. I realize that our only hope is connection, work, solidarity and a change of mentality, LOVE IS THE WEAPON. Our planet is giving us a big lesson and it will not the be the last one. Mother Nature is wise, and we are just passing through this world. Either she changes or we change, and since she is stronger it must be us.
